Mount Abu: Rajasthan’s Summer Capital

A tour of Rajasthan is not complete until one visits its summer capital—Mount Aburanchal or simply mount Abu. It is among the most sought-after hill stations in India, apart from being the only hill station in the state of Rajasthan. The mountain becomes a popular place among the local populations during summers which come here to seek respite from the rising heat. One of the most beautiful sites surrounding Mount Abu is the artificial lake—Lake Nakki. Spend your day around the lake, take a walk around its shore, or arrange a picnic. Nothing is more relaxing than the site of a lake and lush greenery surrounding it. In addition, the mountain also has a wildlife sanctuary in its vicinity.
